It really strikes me how autobiographical painting is….at least of late. I’m leaving for the East Coast next Wednesday, and that certainly has shifted my perspective a bit. I’ll be there indefinitely to care for my dad. Poignant times. Requiring a “change of view.” This painting is on collaged paper, nicely textured. Oh yes, and her cheeks are little pieces of kraft paper, that little final touch. In case you haven’t noticed – all my girls are “cheeky”!

Price includes U.S. shipping/handling. Comes with double matt, black inner, white outer, to fit 8 x 10 frame.

Another piece I did for upcoming show. I got to choose who’s photograph I wanted to paint, and this Harley Davidson looking dude I found fascinating. I’ll actually meet him when the show happens. Cool beans!

I am now making a select number of my sketches and studies available for the discriminating and budget-minded art collector. I sew my various small sized drawing and paintings to smooth white cardstock that is cut to 8 x 10 inches for Easy, Effortless framing. Hang a few of these on a wall in a grouping and you’ll have yourself a great starting collection.

Painted in Nov 2011, but finally finished sewing them this weekend!

Recognize Dorota on Gossip Girl? I often freeze the tv during shows and do a quick sketch. I’m a compulsive multi-tasker, that is, I feel guilty JUST watching tv. LOL.
