]]> Hands Tell Secrets - original ink & gouache, 7 x 5, $65
Didn’t know what to draw, so I looked at my hand and dipped my pen in india ink, and before long, the fronts and backs of my hands were drawn.  I had added some gouache random splashes to the paper first, let it dry, so that was my background.  Then it became a bit of a puzzle piece as i filled in just the intersections where the two hands didn’t overlap.  Fun!

Price includes U.S. shipping/handling.
Comes in a double mat – black inner, white outer, to readily fit 8 x 10 frame. Very nice presentation.

Ok, I finally tried a monotype…there is something so intriguing about the marks made by monotype, and only made by monotypes.  I took a piece of 5 x 7 glass, loaded it up with Daniel Smith water-based black ink ( I avoid anything toxic or solvent-based), rolled it til it was not too much, not too little ink (trial and error!!!) and then placed this gessoed recycled paper on it, drew my little kitty on it, then pulled it off.  Too fun!  After waiting several days for the ink to dry thoroughly, I took my mixed media to it to finish it off.
