Buying My Art

Dear Art Lovers,

Thank you for considering purchasing my artwork.  If there is any further info you need about a particular piece of mine, just use the contact form to reach me.

A FEW NOTES

*All artwork is unmatted and unframed unless otherwise noted.
And, of course, no watermark will be on your piece, that’s only for web presence.

Watercolor and gouache pieces, as well as ink drawings, do not have a varnish of any kind unless otherwise noted. These are best preserved matted and behind glass.

My acrylic paintings on wood supports are varnished as well as ready to hang (unless otherwise noted)…that is, they have two bumper pads at bottom corners, and a hanger at the top….this way, you don’t have to wait to get your piece framed in order to start enjoying it.  You can frame it later, or not at all…..your choice.

Mixed Media artwork – please read the individual notes on these pieces to see if varnish is used or not.  In general I try to avoid any spray varnish as it is toxic, but do use UV acrylic varnish with a brush.

Color - As you most likely know, the color of artwork as you view it online may vary slightly from what you receive.  Different computer monitors render colors differently, and there is no way to change that. Please contact me with any questions you may have.

For Sale? – If there is a piece of art here on my blog that you like, and it is not marked as For Sale, please contact me, who knows?  Could be yours.

Commissions - Again, if you like my style and have something you would like painted, just contact me and we can discuss your ideas and wishes.

WATERMARK
Please note that any watermark that appears on a piece of my artwork displayed on this blog will not appear on your original.  However, each piece is signed by me (J E Springer).

SHIPPING
Shipping and handling (U.S) will be added to each order based on total amount of art purchased.  So multiple purchases save you shipping costs.  Each piece will be shipped in a clear protective envelope, bubblewrapped and packaged carefully in a (most cases) USPS Priority Mail box, as is required for it to make its safe journey to you.  USPS Priority mail is my preferred shipper and you will receive an email with the tracking number.

International customers: If you reside outside the U.S. just send me an email with the artwork you are interested in and I’ll be happy to quote you a shipping price to your destination.

RETURN POLICY
If you are not completely satisfied with your painting I will gladly refund your purchase. Please notify me of your return within 7 days of receiving your package.  Please repack – the very same as it was delivered and once it is returned I will be happy to issue a refund.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

SALES TAX
**Seller charges sales tax for items shipped to California addresses.
