More recycled pieces…..here’s what I do.  Collect all my junk mail, anything that’s stiff, postcardy, even cereal boxes from my pantry, well, they all get cut up these days, and I paint them with some random underpainting, then when it’s all dry, I pick up a few of them, and start LOOKING…..and then when I see what I see, I just start painting.  I am really loving this process…..it is risky, scary and thrilling.  Seems fitting for having completed 4 years of painting now…..and still feel the excitement of holding a brush for the first time.  With these little recycled cards that I gesso on both sides, i feel so free to experiment.  And LOVE the idea of recycling, upcycling….
