This piece represents my 58th Birthday AND the anniversary of my 4 years of painting……making art has changed me, given me such deep abiding joy, and inspired me like nothing else in my life.  And the journey has barely begun. I’ve found my passion, my path….now to figure out how to make a living at it!  Blessings to you. ~Joanie

Another piece where I SAW this scene in the abstract swooshy colors of the underpainting.  I’m really pleased with this one. I think I’ll have to do something similar to this L A R G E.  This new to me way of painting, where I allow the scene to present itself is thrilling…..scary and thrilling.
