Got a book from the library on Chinese painting, and the beauty and elegance of this type of ancient art is breathtaking.  It made me think of how we miss so much by not being open to the traditions and cultures of other peoples, other times, other faiths…..it’s so easy to close the door of our hearts and minds and souls to what is “different” from our every day.  O Lord, wake us all up to the beauty you stamp into each individual on this planet.
