7 in. x 5 in.,
gouache and ink on grocery bag mounted to matboard,
wax varnished,
not necessary to frame behind glass,

** – I fixed this up a bit, added a few oil pastels, etc…..and framed this little painting up for the Harvest Fair, Oct 2011.  And when i went to pick up all my ribbons and paintings, this little guy had sold! I always did think it was a good one… : )

I read that Paul Klee painted on newsprint during the war, when that was all there was.  Got me thinking about all the paper I have laying around, most of it going to the recycle bin.  I love the look of gouache on colored paper…so tried a few myself.  This is the first.  More coming up.
