With my art pals here in Santa Rosa, I am working my way through Charles Sovek’s Oil Painting book…we each purchased a copy, and we work week by week on our own, and sometimes as a group, through the lessons. This was an exercise in temperature – cool warm dynamic. Put it this way, even though I’m not always as successful as I’d like to be, I’m learning lots…and that’s ultimately what it’s all about.
