This started out as a demo in a watercolor class I was teaching, then after the students left I was intrigued and kept working on her. There’s a bit of acrylic added so I’m calling her mixed media.

Nice washes in the hair and I like how the background pattern shows through.
I don’t work in watercolor too much, though i love the medium. Thanks for stopping by, and yes those symbols were actually laid over the hair….but they do kind of look like they are showing thru the background.
