I had this rectangle of wood, an odd size left over from cutting down a large board, and fell in love with it’s shape. Although this isn’t from a photograph (new art intention) it just came out.  Sometimes….quite often actually, when I set an intention for myself, that rebellious part of me screams “NO, I want to do THIS!”  So I let that voice out too. (The photograph has a bit of glare on the wine bottle, the painting doesn’t.)
