She painted herself…I had a sketch and drew it on the board, gessoed over the entire thing, then started again, AGAIN this painting insisted on coming through.  I’m working on backgrounds, and this lady just begged to be “Klimt-ized.” LOL. (Note: The photograph does not do this painting justice!)
